London Underground Bombing
Should have left for work already, instead I’ve been watching the news out of London. Unreal… Much as our own 911 terrorist attacks a few years back, I can’t imagine the minds of people who feel something is accomplished by lashing out at the common citizenry of a country. I just don’t believe that anything can justify this. The people who they’ve interviewed from the trains affected by the bombing… I can only imagine the terror. I’ve been on the London Underground during the morning rush, and I’ve been at King’s Cross, one of the affected stations as well in the morning. Crowded to say the least. And to imagine the panic of an explosion followed by a smoke-filled carriage…
I’m at a loss for words. I really want to express outrage, anger, disbelief… And I can’t find the words to express what I’m feeling…
Just continue absorbing the news and hoping for whatever positive outcomes can possibly be dredged from this attack on human life…
Very well said Mark. As you know London is near and dear to my heart. Its very sad and difficult to understand.
